The Senior Structural Engineer provides advanced structural engineering expertise for onshore and offshore projects, ensuring technical integrity, regulatory compliance, and the delivery of highquality engineering outputs. The role leads and supports project execution by developing, reviewing, and checking structural deliverables; coordinating with multidiscipline teams; supervising junior engineers; and offering technical solutions throughout all stages of design.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BSCE or associate degree in Civil or Structural design from accredited university or equivalent work experience.
- Chartered Engineer (i.e. PICE / ASEP) or recognized equivalent.
- Demonstrable balance of industrial and management experience at relevant level and position.
- Proficient in the following software: STAADPro, SACS, AutoCAD, 3d Modelling Basic knowledge (e.g. E3D, PDMS, etc.), Microsoft Office Suite (preferably an advance user)
- Hands on design experience of multi-disciplinary projects in FEED, Conceptual Design and Detail Design Engineering for onshore/offshore Oil & Gas, petrochemical.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deputizing for Principal as required.
- Executing assigned personal objectives.
- Interact with Multi-Discipline Engineering Teams.
- Supporting and supervising tasks delegated to direct reports.
- Management of third-party suppliers in the execution of Engineering delivery.
- Interact / interface with Multi-Discipline Engineering teams during all stages of design development.
- Perform the role of Technical Authority when appointed to do so.
- Providing technical advice and solutions to technical problems within their discipline.
- Developing, reviewing, and checking deliverables.
- Reviewing Vendor Documents.
- Undertaking site visits/surveys.
- Providing input to CTRs/MDRs.
- Participating in IDC reviews.
- Progress Reporting for their discipline on their assigned Projects when directed.
