SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Role Description: The Senior Structural Engineer will lead the structural design and analysis of buildings and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements. This contract, on-site role based in the National Capital Region, Philippines includes preparing and reviewing structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports. The role involves coordinating with civil, architectural, and other engineering disciplines, providing technical guidance to junior engineers and designers, and participating in project meetings and site inspections. The Senior Structural Engineer will evaluate structural integrity, assess design alternatives, address constructability issues, and support value engineering efforts. The role also requires maintaining documentation, supporting quality assurance processes, and collaborating closely with project management teams to meet schedule and budget objectives.

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with experience in the design and analysis of buildings and infrastructure projects.
• Advanced skills in Structural Analysis and Calculations, including load assessment, member sizing, and code-based design checks.
• Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for preparing and reviewing structural drawings and details.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering; professional licensure (e.g., Registered Civil Engineer) is highly preferred.
• Solid knowledge of relevant Philippine and international building codes, standards, and best practices.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams, mentoring junior staff, and coordinating with clients and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear technical documentation and reports.
• Prior experience with large-scale infrastructure or commercial/industrial projects and familiarity with project management processes is an advantage.
