Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead structural design and analysis activities for building and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in structural engineering, project coordination, and the use of structural analysis and design software.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage structural engineering design and analysis for building and industrial projects.
- Perform structural analysis and design of concrete, steel, and other structural systems using ETABS and other relevant structural engineering software.
- Prepare and review structural calculations, design reports, technical specifications, drawings, and other engineering deliverables.
- Ensure structural designs comply with applicable codes, standards, project specifications, and engineering best practices.
- Review structural models, calculations, drawings, and technical documents prepared by engineers and designers.
- Coordinate structural design requirements with architectural, civil, MEP, and other multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level structural engineers.
- Identify and resolve structural design issues, technical constraints, and coordination conflicts.
- Participate in project meetings and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders as required.
- Monitor the quality, accuracy, and timely completion of structural engineering deliverables.
- Support project planning, technical proposals, cost estimates, and other engineering-related activities when required.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction, when necessary.
- Ensure that all structural engineering works meet required quality, safety, and project standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with specialization in Structural Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in ETABS and other structural analysis/design software.
- Proven experience in building and industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of structural design codes, standards, and engineering best practices.
- Experience managing complex engineering deliverables and coordinating multidisciplinary projects.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Professional Engineering License is an advantage.
