Job Scope:

Structural Technical Leadership & Project Assurance

Provide technical leadership across the Global Delivery Group by ensuring the highest standards of structural engineering excellence are consistently achieve
The role is responsible for reviewing technical outputs, guiding engineering teams, and ensuring robust QA/QC processes are applied across all structural deliverables to support safe, high-quality, and reliable project outcomes.

Global Collaboration & Practice Integration

Act as the key conduit between onshore and offshore teams, fostering strong relationships and seamless collaboration across the global structural practice
The role will strengthen communication pathways, align technical standards and expectations, and promote effective integration of the Global Delivery Group with local and international project teams, with an initial focus on supporting Australian projects

Capability Development & People Leadership

Lead the ongoing development of structural engineers and drafters through structured training, technical mentoring, and coaching
The role will be instrumental in uplifting technical capability, promoting knowledge sharing, and building a high-performing, engaged, and future-ready structural team.

Resource Planning & Delivery Excellence

Support the effective management of team capacity, workload distribution, and future resourcing requirements to ensure sustainable delivery performance
This includes monitoring project pipelines, identifying capability gaps, and contributing to recruitment and workforce planning activities to meet business demands

Business Growth & Operational Support

Contribute to the broader success of the Global Delivery Group by supporting operational, quality, and automation initiatives, while also assisting with client engagement, design reviews, proposals, concept development, and international project opportunities
The role will play a key part in driving continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and strengthening relationships with global clients and stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience

Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering, with professional accreditation preferred
Significant structural engineering experience, ideally at Senior Manager to Associate Director level
Strong experience delivering structural engineering projects within the Australian market
Proven leadership experience managing, mentoring, and collaborating with geographically dispersed onshore and offshore teams
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across multiple offices and disciplines
Collaborative, patient, and hands-on leadership style with a passion for developing people and driving team success
Experience working within global delivery models and multidisciplinary, international project environments will be highly regarded
