Role Description The Senior Structural Bridge Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Manila. This role is responsible for leading the structural analysis and design of bridge projects, preparing and reviewing engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams, mentoring junior engineers, performing site visits and inspections, and resolving technical issues during design and construction. The Senior Structural Bridge Engineer will participate in client meetings, support proposal development, and contribute to project planning and scheduling. The role requires consistent collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective bridge solutions.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in structural analysis and design of bridges, including proficiency with relevant engineering software and design codes.
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing structural drawings, technical specifications, and detailed engineering reports.
  • Knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and quality control practices for bridge and civil infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead project teams, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate with other disciplines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction, stakeholder coordination, and technical presentations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; a master's degree or specialized training in bridge engineering is an advantage.
  • Professional engineering license or eligibility for licensure in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Experience working with or within ISO-certified quality management systems is preferred.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex bridge projects, including feasibility, design, and construction support phases.
