Nautical Staffing is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant, preferably someone with background in the US healthcare industry.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for decision-making.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Support audit processes and prepare necessary documentation.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required; CPA designation is an advantage.
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting, including month-end close and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in various accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and full-cycle accounting processes.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is an advantage.
- Experience with healthcare-specific accounting tasks, such as managing billing systems or patient account reconciliations, is a plus.
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements and efficiencies is a plus.
- Must be willing to work full-time during US Pacific business hours
Rate: $1,550/month
