Senior SQL Server / SSIS Developer

Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior SQL Server / SSIS Developer to join their Data Engineering team. This is a hands-on, pure development role with a strong focus on SSIS and SQL Server stored procedures supporting enterprise data pipelines and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server stored procedures for ETL and data processing
- Build, maintain, and enhance SSIS packages for large-scale data integration
- Support and contribute to SQL Server Data Warehouse development
- Ensure performance tuning, data quality, and reliability of ETL workflows
- Collaborate with onshore data and analytics stakeholders on long-term initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a SQL Server Developer / Data Engineer
- Expert-level SSIS development ( must-have)
- Strong experience writing and optimizing ETL stored procedures
- Advanced T-SQL skills in SQL Server environments
- Proven experience in pure development roles (not reporting-focused)
Nice to Have
- Hands-on SQL Data Warehouse design and development experience
- Experience supporting enterprise or insurance/financial datasets
