About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Engineer to play a critical role at the intersection of sales, technology, and customer success. In this pre-sales position, you will act as a trusted technical advisor, helping customers design secure, scalable cloud and cybersecurity solutions while showcasing the value of a global Internet and security platform.
This role is ideal for professionals with strong hands-on experience in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, and exposure to AI asset protection, who thrive in customer-facing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a core technical partner within the sales cycle, building trusted relationships with customers and prospects
- Define and present technical solutions aligned with customer business and security requirements
- Drive revenue growth by evangelizing platform capabilities to new and existing customers
- Manage technical proposals, solution designs, demos, and proof-of-concepts (POCs)
- Engage with customers to gather requirements and scope implementation timelines
- Identify technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, Professional Services, and Support teams
- Support customer trials, integrations, and post-implementation technical needs
- Review configurations and solution designs to ensure accuracy, quality, and alignment with requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- 67 years of experience in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, consulting, or customer-facing roles
- Strong hands-on experience in Cyber Security and Cloud Computing
- Exposure to AI technologies and experience in protecting AI models, data, or AI-driven assets
- Solid understanding of Internet and security technologies, including:
- API Security
- Content Delivery Networks (CDN)
- Web Architecture (DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP, TLS)
- Proven expertise in cloud platforms and technologies such as:
- AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Kubernetes, cloud storage, and developer tools
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Customer-first mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with platforms such as F5 Networks, Cloudflare, Fastly, AWS, Zscaler, or Google Cloud
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Background in security, edge computing, or large-scale Internet platforms
