Senior Solutions Engineer (APAC)

The Opportunity
Digital identity is the new frontier of security. At Onfido (an Entrust company), we are looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to join our APAC team. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you will bridge the gap between complex technical challenges and seamless user experiences.
You'll be the technical backbone of our sales process, partnering with FinTechs, financial institutions, and eCommerce giants to design secure, frictionless identity journeys that combat fraud and meet strict regulatory standards across the region.
What You'll Do
As a subject matter expert for the Entrust Identity platform, you will:
- Solve Complex Challenges: Partner with Sales to diagnose customer needs across KYC, AML, account opening, and account takeover prevention.
- Design & Integrate: Guide customers through the technical design of user journeys, helping them integrate our APIs and SDKs into their mobile and web applications.
- Lead Technical Trials: Define success criteria for Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and lead technical workstreams to prove our value through data-driven results.
- Be the Voice of the Market: Act as a conduit between the APAC market and our global Product teams, sharing insights to shape the future of our roadmap.
- Advocate & Educate: Build custom demos, lead industry presentations, and represent Entrust at major conferences and webinars.
Who You Are
You are a technical problem-solver who enjoys the aha! moment when a customer understands a solution. You can talk shop with developers and strategy with C-level executives.
Technical Requirements
- Hands-on Coding: Proficiency in at least one language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Java, or Swift).
- Integration Expert: Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and modern SaaS integration patterns.
- Industry Veteran: Experience in Pre-sales, Solutions Engineering, or Technical Product Management within a cloud/SaaS environment.
- Linguistic Skills: Fluency in English and Filipino is essential to support our regional growth.
Valued Skills (Desirable)
- Knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM/CIAM) or fraud prevention.
- Experience in FinTech, CyberSecurity, or RegTech.
- Familiarity with regulatory landscapes like GDPR, eIDAS 2.0, and AML/KYC directives.
