About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Quality Assurance (SQA) professional to support the implementation of its Trade, Supply Chain, and Microfinance (TSCMF) Platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a secure, stable, and high-quality software platform through comprehensive testing, test automation, CI/CD integration, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Review business, functional, and technical design documents to develop effective test strategies.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, test data, traceability matrices, and test reports using Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Execute functional, system integration, performance, and data migration testing.
- Automate test execution, data validation, and reconciliation processes where applicable.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and manage defect tracking.
- Prepare quality dashboards, release readiness reports, and provide go/no-go recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, business analysts, developers, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Participate in sprint reviews, release planning, defect triage, and knowledge transfer activities.
- Identify and escalate quality risks to project leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing experience.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and ISTQB best practices.
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for test management and defect tracking.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Test automation
- CI/CD testing
- SQL and database validation
- Front-end testing (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular)
- Back-end testing (Node.js, Python, Java)
- Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- ISTQB/BCS certification is preferred.
- Experience in Banking or Financial Services is an advantage.
