Your Role
As a
Senior Software Quality Analyst, you will:
- Lead the design, development, and execution of comprehensive test cases including functional, regression, integration, performance, and end-to-end testing.
- Translate business and system requirements into detailed, traceable test plans and scripts.
- Perform manual and automated testing using tools such as Selenium, Postman, or SoapUI.
- Drive defect triage, root cause analysis, and validation of fixes prior to release.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Service Operations, and cross-functional teams to ensure complete and accurate test coverage.
- Mentor junior QA Analysts and promote adherence to QA standards and best practices.
- Maintain structured defect tracking and documentation using Jira, ALM, or similar tools.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, automation enhancements, and reusable QA frameworks.
What You Need
Non-negotiables
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum 3+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience in manual and automated testing.
- Strong experience in functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Experience working in Windows environments with Oracle or other transactional databases.
- Hands-on experience with QA automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, or SoapUI.
- Proficiency in SQL, SQL Developer, and defect tracking systems such as Jira or ALM.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Skills/expertise
- Experience in Healthcare IT systems or claims processing industry.
- Proficiency in XML, HTML, JavaScript, VB, C#, or Python scripting.
- Professional certifications such as ISTQB, CAST, or AWS Cloud Practitioner.
- Experience creating and maintaining test environments and configurations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
