A Senior Software Engineer responsible for building and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performing payment, settlement, reconciliation, and integration platforms. The role independently leads technical initiatives, drives engineering excellence, collaborates across cross-functional teams, and leverages AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve software delivery and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support backend services and payment platforms.
- Deliver secure, scalable, fault-tolerant, and compliant solutions aligned with business and platform requirements
- Lead medium to large engineering initiatives, manage technical dependencies, and collaborate with Product, Business, Risk, Compliance, and Engineering teams.
- Build integrations with payment channels, settlement systems, financial platforms, and enterprise services.
- Drive software quality through automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD, observability, and continuous improvement.
- Utilize approved AI-assisted engineering tools to enhance productivity, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while maintaining security and quality standards.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of software development experience in enterprise or mission-critical systems.
- Strong expertise in Java, Kotlin, JVM-based technologies, OR TypeScript/Node.js.
- Experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and Kafka or similar technologies.
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases, cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.
