Senior Software Engineer - Flutter

What You'll Do

• Own the end-to-end development of mobile features using Flutter and Dart, from technical design to production.
• Build scalable, reliable, and high-performance applications for our customer and professional experiences.
• Work closely with Product, Design, Backend, and other Engineering teams to translate product requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Design and implement reusable components, modules, and frameworks to improve development velocity.
• Make architecture and technology decisions that improve the scalability, maintainability, and performance of the mobile platform.
• Integrate REST APIs, third-party SDKs, analytics, push notifications, payments, deep links, and other mobile services.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, crashes, memory issues, and production problems.
• Ensure high standards of code quality through code reviews, testing, documentation, and engineering best practices.
• Build effective unit, widget, and integration tests to ensure application reliability.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to design efficient APIs and seamless mobile-backend integrations.
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to mobile architecture and engineering strategy.
• Monitor application performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a strong Flutter engineering culture.

What We're Looking For

• 5 - 8 years of software engineering experience, with significant hands-on experience in Flutter development.
• Strong proficincy in Flutter and Dart, with experience building and shipping production-grade applications.
• Strong understanding of Flutter architecture, widget lifecycle, state management, navigation, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with state management frameworks such as BLoC, Riverpod, Provider, or similar.
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns.
• Experience integrating REST APIs, authentication, third-party SDKs, and backend services.
• Good understanding of mobile performance optimization, memory management, networking, and debugging.
• Experience handling different device sizes, OS versions, and platform-specific requirements.
• Strong understanding of Git and modern software development practices.
• Experience writing unit, widget, and integration tests.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.
• Ability to independently own and deliver complex features.
• Strong product mindset with an eye for performance, usability, and overall user experience.

Good to Have

• Experience working in a B2C / consumer internet / high-scale product environment.
• Experience building applications with a large user base.
• Experience with native Android/iOS integrations and Flutter platform channels.
• Experience with Firebase, Crashlytics, Analytics, or similar monitoring platforms.
• Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines and automated release processes.
• Experience publishing and managing applications on the Google Play Store and/or Apple App Store.
• Experience with Flutter performance profiling and optimization.
• Exposure to native Kotlin/Swift development.
• Experience working in a startup or fast-paced product environment
