Job Description
The Role:
We're seeking a Senior Advanced Software Engineer to join an Azure-first environment focused on designing, building, and owning modern cloud-native services from the ground up.
You'll play a key role in defining technical direction, developing scalable solutions, and owning the full software development lifecycle. You'll work closely with business teams, product owners, and Data Engineering while helping drive the adoption of modern AI development tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.
Location: Must be in Colombia or Philippines – Remote.
Environment: International Teams.
Language: Advanced English (B2+ - C1).
Timezone: Monday to Friday – 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM COL Time.
Contract: Non-fixed Term Colombian Contract.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of professional software development experience, with deep hands-on experience in C#/.NET and production environments. Strong experience building cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure, developing third-party integrations, and owning systems throughout their lifecycle.
- Skills: Advanced C#/.NET; Microsoft Azure; Azure App Services; Azure Functions; Event Grid; relational databases; REST/API integrations; Azure DevOps; GitHub; AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor. Familiarity with Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Synapse, or Microsoft Fabric is a plus.
- Characteristics: Strong ownership mindset, highly analytical, proactive, collaborative, technically curious, and comfortable working independently within a small distributed team. Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and mentor other engineers.
Must-Have Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software development experience, with deep, hands-on experience in C#/.NET in production environments.
- Solid experience building solutions on Microsoft Azure, using tools such as App Services, Azure Functions, Event Grid, and relational databases.
- Experience developing using AI tooling such Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
- Experience designing and building integrations with third-party applications.
- Experience owning systems in production environments.
- Advanced English (C1) – able to communicate fluently with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience building solutions with Microsoft Power Platform.
- Experience building solutions for with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Data architecture familiarity, including Azure SQL, Cosmo, Synapse, or Fabric DBs.
- Familiarity with other AI development tooling including Antigravity, Snyk, AWS Q Developer, Codium AI, etc.
- DevOps tooling experience such as Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or Bitbucket Pipelines.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build cloud-native applications and services using primarily C#/.NET on Azure and Dynamics 365.
- Utilize and support the increasing integration of AI-based authoring tools and technologies such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.
- Define architecture decisions and technical direction.
- Own services end-to-end: design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance following best practices for scalability, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate directly with business teams (Sales, Recruiting) and product owners.
- Work closely with the Data Engineering team to build solutions that are natively designed to enable business analytics.
- Act as a technical mentor for junior engineers, ensuring best practices and proper design patterns.
- Own Azure DevOps, GitHub tooling and processes, and development environments.

This role is expected to grow in scope and impact as the company continues to scale. Over time, the position will take on broader technical ownership, increased influence over architectural direction, and deeper involvement in defining engineering standards and best practices.
The person in this role will progressively expand their leadership responsibilities, including mentoring and guiding other engineers, contributing to technical strategy, and participating in higher-level planning and decision-making with technology and business team members.
