Track 1: Senior Backend Engineer (C# & Java) – Post-Trade Technology

In this role, you will be the pioneering internal hire in Manila for the STP & Post Trade Technology team. You will work with high autonomy, collaborating with and managing global 3rd-party vendors while receiving training.

• The Mission: Develop and maintain enterprise-level applications for post-trade affirmation and confirmation workflows, focusing heavily on real-time message processing.
• Core Tech Stack: C#, Java, AWS (EC2/EKS), and SQL Server.
• What You Need: Strong backend fundamentals and high autonomy. Note: Microservices experience is NOT required for this track.
• Standout Skills (Preferred): Experience with XML, messaging frameworks, and middleware (such as Solace or Tibco). Experience integrating with 3rd party messaging vendors (Markitwire, ICELink, LCH) is a distinct advantage.

Track 2: Senior Full-Stack Engineer – Next-Gen Fusion Platform

In this role, you will be part of a new team partnering closely with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to build the Next Generation of the Fusion Platform from the ground up.

• The Mission: Take ownership of the design, development, testing, and deployment of software into low-latency, event-driven production environments.
• Core Tech Stack: TypeScript, React, C# or Java, AWS (Lambda, Fargate, AppSync), and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• What You Need: Proven experience designing and deploying Microservices architecture. You must be comfortable working across the full stack (HTML5, CSS3, React, RESTful APIs, GraphQL).
• Standout Skills (Preferred): Experience with Pub/Sub patterns, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). Note: As this platform is used 24/5 globally, occasional out-of-hours support may be required to maintain operational stability.

General Responsibilities for Both Roles

• Code Quality: Maintain high standards through comprehensive testing (Unit, Integration, E2E) and code reviews.
• Agile Delivery: Participate actively in SAFe/Scrum ceremonies and standard SDLC processes.
• Mentorship: Mentor junior members of the team and drive engineering improvements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with global architecture and DevOps teams to evolve systems towards target state architectures.
