Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Developer to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise software applications and services. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a passion for building scalable solutions, and the ability to mentor junior developers while collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software applications and services.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient technical solutions.
- Develop clean, maintainable, and secure code following established coding standards and best practices.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and security.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex application issues and production incidents.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Participate in system architecture, solution design, and technology evaluation initiatives.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, development guides, and deployment procedures.
- Support application releases, production deployments, and change management activities.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level developers.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend process and technology improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in software development, application development, or enterprise systems development.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software engineering best practices.
- Experience designing and developing enterprise applications using object-oriented programming principles.
- Hands-on experience with one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, .NET, Python, JavaScript, or similar technologies.
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
- Knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
- Experience troubleshooting production issues and supporting application deployments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to mentor team members and work effectively in a collaborative development environment.
