What you will do

Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, highly available, and secure AWS cloud infrastructure, including VPC, EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, and other cloud-native services.

Infrastructure Automation: Develop, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment.

Incident Management: Lead incident response activities, troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive measures to improve system reliability and minimize downtime.

Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, security, and cost efficiency by leveraging AWS best practices and cloud-native technologies.

Leadership and Collaboration: Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, Security, and Operations teams to improve platform reliability and operational excellence.

Cloud Standards and Governance: Partner with stakeholders to establish Site Reliability Engineering standards, cloud governance, and security best practices while ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with emerging AWS technologies, automation frameworks, and Site Reliability Engineering best practices to continuously improve cloud infrastructure and engineering processes.

A Senior Site Reliability Engineer strives to build and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure that supports business-critical applications and services. By leveraging AWS cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, and Site Reliability Engineering best practices, the Senior Site Reliability Engineer ensures high system availability, operational efficiency, and excellent platform performance.

Through close collaboration with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior engineers, and driving continuous improvement initiatives, the role plays a critical part in strengthening cloud operations, improving service reliability, and supporting the organization's long-term technology strategy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Software Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, Product, and Operations teams to deliver reliable cloud platforms and improve operational efficiency.

Technology Awareness: Stay informed about emerging AWS technologies, cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes, automation tools, and Site Reliability Engineering best practices to continuously enhance technical capabilities.

Compliance and Security: Ensure cloud infrastructure complies with company standards, security requirements, governance policies, and eTap's safety, security, and information security policies.

Other Duties: Perform other job-related responsibilities as assigned while supporting team objectives and organizational goals.

Why You

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a related role with a strong focus on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Strong experience designing, deploying, and managing AWS services, including EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, IAM, VPC, and Lambda.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Strong understanding of AWS networking concepts, including VPCs, VPNs, routing, load balancing, and security groups.
• Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, IAM, compliance standards, and AWS security best practices.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis skills.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor engineers and lead cross-functional technical initiatives.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
