Salary: ₱90,000–₱140,000

Location: Alabang, Muntinlupa City

Work Setup: Hybrid – 40% onsite per month

Shift: Predominantly EU time zone, with flexibility to work other shifts as needed

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior SIEM Engineer for Cybersecurity Detection who will be responsible for security monitoring, SIEM/XDR engineering, and the development of effective cybersecurity detection use cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and maintain SIEM/XDR security monitoring and detection capabilities.
• Develop and implement security use cases, detection rules, and alerts based on identified threats and security requirements.
• Monitor and analyze security events, logs, and alerts to identify potential threats and suspicious activities.
• Work with platforms such as Splunk Enterprise Security, Microsoft Sentinel, and Microsoft Defender.
• Tune and optimize detection rules and alerts to improve accuracy and reduce false positives.
• Perform investigation and analysis of security events and indicators of compromise.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and technical teams to improve detection coverage and security monitoring.
• Support continuous improvement of SIEM/XDR processes, detection logic, and security use cases.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in SIEM/XDR engineering, cybersecurity monitoring, or security detection.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM/XDR platforms, preferably:
• Splunk Enterprise Security
• Microsoft Sentinel
• Microsoft Defender
• Strong experience in developing security use cases and detection rules.
• Knowledge of security monitoring, threat detection, log analysis, and incident investigation.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to work predominantly on EU time zone and remain flexible for other shifts when required.
• Willing to work on a hybrid setup in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
