We are a fast-growing social media agency hiring a full-time, senior-level Video Editor to lead our short-form video production.
This role is not entry-level or mid-level. We are looking for an editor who has spent years creating high-performing Instagram Reels and TikTok content and has a deep, intuitive understanding of what captures attention, drives retention, and converts.
You should have exceptional creative instincts, advanced technical skills, and the ability to think independently while maintaining extremely high quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Edit high-performing Instagram Reels and TikTok videos daily
- Transform raw footage into premium, scroll-stopping short-form content
- Execute complex edits with advanced transitions, sound design, and pacing
- Apply motion graphics, visual effects, and creative enhancements
- Create and integrate AI-generated video content
- Develop prompts and workflows for AI video generation tools
- Maintain exceptional quality while meeting fast turnaround times
- Collaborate closely on creative direction and short-form content strategy
Requirements
- Extensive professional experience editing short-form social media content
- Several years of hands-on experience editing Instagram Reels and TikTok at a high level
- Expert-level proficiency in:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Photoshop
- Strong design sense (typography, layout, visual hierarchy)
- Deep expertise in sound design, transitions, pacing, and advanced editing techniques
- Advanced skills in animation and text animation for short-form video
- Extensive experience using AI video generation tools
- Strong prompt engineering skills for AI video creation
- Ability to seamlessly blend AI-generated content with traditional edits
- Highly creative, detail-oriented, and capable of independent problem-solving
- Able to work full-time and consistently meet daily deadlines
