About The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced
Senior Shopify & Full-Stack Web Developer to lead a complete rebuild of a large-scale Shopify ecosystem. This project involves modernizing retail and wholesale e-commerce platforms, migrating to Shopify Native B2B, optimizing subscription architecture, redesigning the storefront, and developing a Progressive Web App (PWA) for wholesale ordering.
This is a hands-on development role for someone who can architect, build, and deliver complex Shopify solutions from end to end.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the migration from legacy wholesale access to Shopify Native B2B using Shopify Markets.
- Configure wholesale catalogs, pricing tiers, customer groups, and product visibility.
- Audit, optimize, and migrate subscription platforms (Recharge or Shopify Native Subscriptions) while ensuring zero disruption to existing customers.
- Develop and maintain custom Shopify themes using Liquid, JavaScript (ES6), HTML5, CSS3/Tailwind CSS .
- Build custom functionality using GraphQL, REST APIs, Shopify Admin API, and Storefront API .
- Redesign key storefront pages with a responsive, mobile-first approach.
- Develop a Progressive Web App (PWA) for wholesale ordering with secure Shopify authentication.
- Integrate and optimize third-party Shopify applications and automation tools.
- Build content and educational resources using Shopify or a headless CMS.
- Optimize website performance, scalability, security, and overall user experience.
Requirements Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience developing custom Shopify solutions.
- Strong expertise in Shopify Liquid, JavaScript (ES6), HTML5, CSS3, and Tailwind CSS .
- Experience with Shopify B2B, Shopify Markets, and wholesale catalog management .
- Hands-on experience with Recharge, Shopify Native Subscriptions, Skio, or Bold .
- Strong knowledge of GraphQL, REST APIs, Shopify Admin API, and Storefront API .
- Experience building Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) .
- Experience integrating Shopify apps such as Flow, Zapier, Starshipit , or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub and modern development workflows.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, performance optimization, and Shopify best practices.
- Ability to independently lead complex Shopify development projects from planning through deployment.
Preferred
- Experience with headless CMS platforms.
- Previous experience leading Shopify migrations or enterprise e-commerce rebuilds.
- Strong UX/UI sensibilities for modern, high-performing e-commerce websites.
