Role Description The Senior ServiceNow Developer is a full-time, on-site role based in Alabang, Muntinlupa. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications, workflows, and integrations that align with business requirements. The Senior ServiceNow Developer will configure modules, manage platform upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and ensure performance, security, and maintainability of the ServiceNow environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, translating them into technical designs, and delivering high-quality code and documentation. The role also involves mentoring junior developers, adhering to best practices and governance standards, and supporting end users through issue resolution and enhancement requests.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and configure ServiceNow Catalog Items, Record Producers, Order Guides, and advanced variables, including UI Policies, Catalog Client Scripts, and Script Includes.
- Configure and manage approvals, assignment rules, SLAs, Business Rules, ACLs/RBAC, and data policies to support business and security requirements.
- Develop and maintain integrations with Active Directory/Azure AD, Exchange/Microsoft 365, Jira, Microsoft Teams, AWS/Azure, GitHub, and identity/IAM platforms, including automated provisioning of accounts, groups, licenses, and access.
- Implement and manage IntegrationHub solutions using standard and custom REST/SOAP spokes, including credential management, retry mechanisms, and idempotent integration design.
- Develop applications within ServiceNow scoped applications, utilizing version control, Update Sets/App Repository, ATF (Automated Test Framework), HealthScan, code reviews, and Dev→Test→Prod deployment practices.
- Build and maintain Performance Analytics dashboards to track automation fulfillment rates, request MTTR, integration retry/error rates, and SLA compliance.
- Create and maintain reusable ServiceNow components, including subflows, custom spokes, catalog item templates, knowledge articles, and operational runbooks.
Job requirements:
- 4+ years building in ServiceNow with a strong focus on Service Catalog and automation:Flow Designer/Subflows, IntegrationHub (spokes & custom) and Orchestration.
- Experience in Catalog Item creations with approvals and automated fulfillment.
- Hands-on REST/SOAP integrations, JSON, webhooks, OAuth 2.0, tokens, and secure credential handling.
- Strong understanding of ITSM (Request, Incident, Change, Problem) and ServiceNow SDLC/governance.
- Experience with MID Server and external scripting (PowerShell/Python/SSH).
- Proficiency with ATF, HealthScan, and maintainable coding practices.
