About the Role
DataOne Asia is looking for a Senior Service Engineer (Infrastructure / Cloud) to join our Service Engineer team. This role will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise infrastructure and cloud environment that support our growing data center and managed services portfolio.
You will work closely with Pre-Sales, Sales, Data Center Operations, and Service Delivery teams to ensure that infrastructure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise infrastructure solutions including servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and cloud environments.
- Support the deployment of customer infrastructure and systems related issues.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting for infrastructure and systems related issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis for critical or recurring technical incidents.
- Collaborate with Pre-Sales teams to validate the technical feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Work with Data Center Operations and Service Delivery teams during infrastructure implementation and support activities.
- Ensure infrastructure solutions follow engineering standards, security policies, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain technical documentation including system configurations and architecture diagrams.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies related to cloud infrastructure, virtualization, storage and disaster recovery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5-8 years experience in infrastructure engineering or cloud engineering roles.
- Experience designing or supporting enterprise environments involving:
- Virtualization platforms (VMware, OpenShift, or similar)
- Cloud Infrastructure environments
- Server and storage systems
- Backup and disaster recovery technologies
- Networking fundamentals
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

- CCNA / CCNP
- Veeam Certification
