Senior Security Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Security Engineer to join our Cyber Security team. In this role, you'll be responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing the technical security controls that protect our organization from evolving threats.

You'll collaborate closely with Security Architecture, SOC, and Threat teams to strengthen our defenses, while also ensuring security measures align with business operations and compliance standards. This is a great opportunity to take on a technical leadership role, mentor junior engineers, and drive continuous improvement in security engineering practices.

What you'll do

• Implement and deploy new technical security controls
• Manage and support day-to-day operations of security tools and platforms
• Optimize security controls to defend against emerging and existing threats
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, working closely with IT Operations
• Ensure controls comply with internal security standards and support GRC risk mitigation
• Produce and maintain documentation, procedures, and operational reports
• Monitor performance metrics such as availability, utilization, and effectiveness
• Collaborate with SOC and Threat teams to continuously improve security posture
• Provide technical leadership during major incidents
• Mentor and support junior security engineers

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field7+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or operations
• Strong expertise in:

-Incident response

-Threat detection and analysis

-Risk assessment

• Hands-on experience with:

-Cloud security

-Network security

-Endpoint security solutions

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, OSCP, GIAC) are a plus
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Proven ability to mentor and guide technical teams
• Self-driven with the ability to design and propose solutions independently
