Senior SAP FICO Consultant | Hybrid (1-2 onsite per week)

Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP FICO Consultant with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance and multiple end-to-end implementation projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience delivering SAP Finance solutions from requirements gathering through go-live and hypercare while partnering with business and technical stakeholders to support finance transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver full-cycle SAP S/4HANA FICO implementations from requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
- Conduct Fit-to-Standard/Fit-Gap workshops, business process analysis, and requirements gathering with Finance stakeholders.
- Design and configure SAP FICO solutions aligned with business requirements and SAP best practices.
- Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, configuration documents, and support technical development.
- Collaborate with technical teams during development, integration, testing, and deployment.
- Support data migration activities, including data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and business readiness.
- Prepare and support SIT, UAT, cutover planning, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Work closely with cross-functional SAP teams to deliver integrated business processes.
- Provide guidance to junior consultants and support project planning and delivery activities.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of SAP FICO consulting experience.
- Strong SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation experience.
- Multiple full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation projects from requirements gathering through go-live and hypercare.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Bank Accounting / Cash Management
- Experience with SAP Activate methodology.
- Hands-on experience in:
- Business requirements gathering
- Fit-to-Standard/Fit-Gap workshops
- Solution design
- SAP configuration
- Functional specifications
- Data migration
- SIT, UAT, cutover, deployment, and hypercare
- Experience integrating FICO with modules such as MM, SD, PS, PM, TRM, FM, PP, QM, or LE-TRA.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or equivalent accounting qualification.
- Experience in finance transformation programs.
- Experience working in global or regional SAP implementation projects.
- Experience leading functional workstreams or mentoring junior consultants.
