Your Role And Responsibilities
As SAP BTP Integration Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting integrations across SAP and non‑SAP systems. The role involves working with SAP BTP Integration Suite and related technologies to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable integration solutions.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and implement integrations using SAP BTP Integration Suite, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
- Develop and manage interfaces using APIs, iFlows, IDocs, and web services to support end‑to‑end data flows.
- Analyze integration requirements and convert them into efficient and scalable technical solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues to maintain system stability and performance.
- Collaborate with functional teams, technical stakeholders, and third‑party partners to deliver integrated solutions that follow SAP best practices and security standards.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI), including designing, building, testing, and deploying integration flows in cloud environments.
- Solid understanding of integration concepts for both SAP and non‑SAP systems, with the ability to work across different platforms, protocols, and application landscapes.
- Practical experience working with REST and SOAP APIs, as well as data formats such as XML and JSON, to build and manage interfaces and data exchanges.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA integration scenarios, including common business processes, integration patterns, and relevant SAP objects or technologies.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and resolve integration issues efficiently.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Experience with cloud‑to‑cloud and cloud‑to‑on‑premise integrations, including connecting hybrid system landscapes and ensuring secure, reliable data exchange across environments.
- Exposure to SAP PI/PO migration to SAP BTP, with an understanding of migration steps, challenges, and best practices for converting existing interfaces to modern cloud‑based integration technologies.
- Prior project or support experience in SAP integration roles, demonstrating the ability to work through full integration lifecycles, handle incidents, and support ongoing operational needs.
