What You Will Do:
- Hands-On Configuration: Take deep ownership of Salesforce configuration, heavily contributing to both major internal projects and day-to-day Business as Usual (BAU) requests.
- Strategic Design & Delivery: Quickly assimilate our current organizational structure, business processes, and application landscape to design and deliver future-proof Salesforce enhancements.
- Transformational Impact: Act as a key player in enterprise-wide projects, partnering with multiple departments and stakeholders to drive our overarching systems transformation.
- Champion Governance: Ensure all projects are delivered seamlessly, adhering strictly to our internal development, change, and release processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Architecture & Technical Delivery
- Own the Architecture: Take proactive ownership of the overall Salesforce architecture, ensuring a scalable, secure, and robust platform.
- Drive Deployments: Manage and execute seamless deployments using GitLab and Gearset, upholding strict release management and CI/CD best practices.
- Lead Integrations: Oversee the technical design, delivery, and testing of complex system integrations and custom extensions.
Configuration & Automation
- Platform Customization: Configure and customize solutions across a wide range of Salesforce products, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud, CPQ Plus, Pardot, and DocuSign.
- System Design: Build and maintain custom objects, fields, record-type-based page layouts, and custom tabs, alongside expertly utilizing custom settings, metadata types, and custom labels.
- Process Automation: Streamline business operations by designing and implementing robust Flows, approval processes, and validation rules.
Security & Data Management
- Enforce Security: Architect and implement comprehensive security and sharing models using profiles, permission sets, and custom permissions at the object, field, and record levels.
- Data Integrity: Perform manual and automated data entry and clean-up exercises to ensure peak data hygiene.
Documentation, Support & Global Collaboration
- Bridge the Gap: Translate complex business requirements into clear, comprehensive functional and technical documentation, ensuring thorough validation of all designs.
- Empower Users: Create and maintain high-quality training materials to drive user adoption.
- Provide Expert Support: Act as the ultimate escalation point, providing vital second-line technical support for the Salesforce platform.
- Ecosystem Partnership: Collaborate closely with global operational teams and the owners of connected enterprise systems (such as Workday, MuleSoft, Pardot, and DocuSign) to ensure seamless end-to-end functionality.
Requirements:
Core Qualifications (The Must-Haves)
- Certifications: Active Salesforce Administrator Certification (Advanced Administrator is highly preferred).
- Salesforce Ecosystem Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience implementing Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Revenue Cloud. You should also be comfortable configuring AppExchange integrations and ideally bring knowledge of Pardot, DocuSign, and Salesforce CPQ.
- Advanced Configuration & Automation: Demonstrable skill in building custom Flows and configuring custom objects, record types, fields, page layouts, formulas, validation rules, approval processes, and installed packages. Note: Familiarity with Apex, Visualforce, and Triggers is also required.
- DevOps & Deployments: Proven experience managing releases using Gearset and GitLab (or similar CI/CD deployment toolsets).
- Agile Delivery: A strong track record of driving the complete project lifecycle and successfully delivering Salesforce application changes within a structured Agile/Scrum environment.
Bonus Points (Highly Desirable)
- System Migrations & Integrations: Previous project experience migrating legacy CRM systems into Salesforce, as well as designing interfaces between multiple enterprise systems.
- Dynamic Work Environments: Proven success working across multi-state locations and distributed time zones, especially within companies undergoing Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A).
- Industry & Business Acumen: A deep understanding of the underlying business processes supported by production systems. Experience in the Technology or Professional Services sectors is a major plus!
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
