Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join our Client's technology team. This role requires extensive expertise in the Salesforce platform, with specialized knowledge and proven experience in the airline and hotel industries. The Senior Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative Salesforce solutions that enhance customer relationship management (CRM), streamline business processes, and drive revenue growth across client's airline and hotel divisions.

Responsibilities

Architect and Develop Salesforce Solutions: Design, develop, and implement complex Salesforce applications and customizations using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and other Salesforce technologies to meet specific airline and hotel business requirements.

Business Analysis and Strategy: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders, to translate complex business needs and strategic initiatives into technical specifications and elegant Salesforce solutions.

Integrate and Optimize Systems: Develop and manage complex integrations between Salesforce and external systems critical to airline and hotel operations, such as reservation systems, booking engines, loyalty program platforms, and property management systems. Use REST/SOAP APIs and other integration tools to ensure seamless data flow.

Ensure Code Quality and Best Practices: Perform comprehensive code reviews, provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, and ensure all development adheres to Salesforce best practices, governor limits, and security standards.

Provide Technical Leadership: Act as a technical subject matter expert (SME) for Salesforce-related projects, leading the design and implementation of solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and performant.

Manage Deployments and CI/CD: Take ownership of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment. Utilize DevOps tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins) and methodologies for continuous integration and delivery.

Troubleshoot and Support: Provide expert-level support for Salesforce applications, resolving complex technical issues and performing root cause analysis for production incidents.

Stay Current with Salesforce Advancements: Keep up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features, products, and industry trends, applying this knowledge to enhance our existing implementations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer.

In-depth experience in the airline and/or hotel industry, with a strong understanding of CRM processes, loyalty programs, booking, and customer service workflows.

Expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and the Salesforce data model.

Strong experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.

Proficiency with Salesforce declarative tools, including Process Builder and Flow.

Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications

Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II

Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant

Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Developer (a plus)
