POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the strategic management, governance, and ongoing enhancement of our Salesforce platform.
This role serves as a trusted advisor to the businessensuring the platform remains secure, scalable, well-governed, and aligned to organizational priorities. You will partner closely with PMO, DevOps, IT, and vendor teams to strengthen platform security, improve system quality, and manage technical debt.
You will lead release readiness activities, assess seasonal Salesforce updates, and oversee the impact of platform changes. The role also ensures reliable deployments through disciplined release and environment management practices.
In addition to advanced responsibilities, you will provide guidance and coverage for core administrative tasks (e.g., user provisioning, basic data loads) while driving continuous improvement and overall platform uplift.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage overall Salesforce platform administration, governance, and roadmap execution.
- Enforce configuration standards and participate in Salesforce governance forums.
- Drive release readiness: assess upcoming Salesforce releases, coordinate testing, and guide feature adoption.
- Strengthen security by managing roles, profiles, permissions, and compliance controls.
- Configure and optimize Salesforce using scalable best practices (Flows, validation rules, layouts, metadata).
- Maintain data quality through audits, deduplication, and hygiene processes.
- Build and improve dashboards and reports aligned to business KPIs.
- Manage environments, sandbox usage, and deployment processes in partnership with DevOps.
- Oversee integrations and third-party tools, including impact assessments and vendor coordination.
- Serve as the senior escalation point for complex issues, ensuring root-cause resolution and prevention.
- Collaborate and partner with Salesforce Admin team on BAU coverage, capability uplift, and process standardization.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Certified Salesforce Administrator.
- Strong Salesforce product knowledge and 8+ years of Salesforce Administrator hands-on experience or system support.
- Experience in:
- Advanced configuration and Flow automation
- Integration technologies and release management
- Release readiness and environment management
- Stakeholder engagement and solution advisory
REQUISITE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Proven experience and expert knowledge of Salesforce security, data architecture, automation, environment setup, and integration tools (middleware, API, data loader).
- Excellent stakeholder management, able to translate business requirements into scalable platform solutions
- Clear communicator who can present options and impacts to cross-functional teams.
- Proactive mindset: anticipate risks (release, security, scale) and drives preventative action
- Strong analytical, project management, problem-solving, and facilitation skills.
- Strong documentation discipline and quality driven approach
- Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
- Ability to work in a flexible and hybrid work environment (At least 3 days in the office)
DESIRED SKILLS
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator and/or Platform App Builder certification(s).
- Experience in multi-org environments, regulated environments, or vendor-delivered delivery models.
- Experience supporting DevOps/CI-CD practices and tools.
- Exposure to integration patterns, connected app governance, and platform monitoring practices.
