About the Role
As a Senior Sales Ops & Planning Analyst, you will drive revenue predictability and strategic sales planning at the core of revenue operations. You will transform complex commercial data into forecasting accuracy, quota insights, and pipeline intelligence that guide leadership decisions. In a high-growth SaaS environment, your analysis will influence quota allocation, capacity planning, and sales performance strategy. The Qualifications We Seek
Need to Haves
- 4+ years extensive experience analyzing raw sales and bookings data and building forecasting and planning models
- Ability to translate analytical insights into actionable business recommendations
- Ability to communicate forecast assumptions, risks, and planning insights clearly and in a structured manner
- Experience presenting analytical findings to senior leadership; experience presenting to executive teams or investors considered an advantage
- Proficiency in Python and/or SQL (both preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills including modeling, scenario analysis, and complex formulas
- Experience using Salesforce and strong understanding of sales pipeline mechanics
- Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerPoint, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
- Experience with AmazonQuicksight considered an advantage
- Experience working across CRM, CPQ, Finance, and reporting systems
- Familiarity with Git for managing scripts or model revisions
- Ability to maintain data consistency across multiple systems and reporting inputs
- Ability to build strong working relationships across Sales, Finance, and Revenue Operations teams
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Strong analytical mindset with curiosity about forecast assumptions, pipeline drivers, and quota structures
- Ability to manage multiple planning cycles, deadlines, and stakeholder requests simultaneously with strong attention to detail

- 4+ years of experience in sales operations, revenue analytics, business strategy, or related fields

Key Responsibilities
Sales Forecasting & Planning
- Own end-to-end bookings forecasting processes across weekly, monthly, and quarterly cycles
- Partner with Sales leadership to validate commit, upside, and risk forecasts and ensure forecast accuracy
- Maintain back-testing models and improve forecasting methodology
Quota & Coverage Modeling
- Lead quota allocation modeling and coverage ratio analysis
- Conduct capacity planning and support sales coverage strategy
- Support annual and mid-year quota planning cycles with data-backed recommendations
- Build scenario models that inform AOP planning and compensation design
Bookings Validation & Data Integrity
- Own bookings validation and reconciliation across CRM, CPQ, and Finance systems
- Ensure accurate classification of new logo, renewal, and expansion bookings
- Maintain controls that ensure attainment calculations and reporting outputs remain reliable and audit-ready
Revenue Operations Analytics
- Analyze pipeline health and attainment performance
- Produce plan-to-actual variance reporting
- Identify structural drivers of overperformance and underperformance
- Provide data-backed recommendations to Commercial leadership
Data Reporting and Visualization
- Build dashboards and reports in Amazon Quicksight and Excel
- Deliver clear and actionable insights to stakeholders across Sales, Finance, and Revenue Operations
- Develop reporting that simplifies complex datasets and supports confident decision-making
Data Source Management
- Partner with Sales Operations, Enterprise Applications, and Finance teams to ensure alignment across commercial data systems
- Manage multiple data sources and ensure proper integration and synchronization
- Work with structured and unstructured data while maintaining consistency and integrity
- Utilize Git to track changes in forecasting models, scripts, and configuration files
- Coordinate with data engineers and technical teams to maintain version control across databases, APIs, and reporting inputs
Execution of Cross-Functional Initiatives
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve forecasting processes, quota design, and planning discipline
- Lead structured project sprint
- Measure the impact of implemented optimizations
Strategic Recommendations
- Identify inefficiencies in sales planning processes, pipeline governance, and quota allocation
- Develop data-driven recommendations that improve predictability, accountability, and performance
Communication of Insights
- Present structured, executive-ready summaries of forecast performance and quota design
- Communicate sales plan outcomes to Commercial and Finance leadership teams
