About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Revenue Accountant to join our finance/accounting team. This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of revenue accounting and ensuring accurate recognition and reporting of revenue in line with U.S. GAAP. The role requires strong analytical rigor, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to scale processes in a fast-growing, data-driven company.

Responsibilities

Account Reconciliation: Assist with monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and journal entries for month-end close.

Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with sales and other departments to provide support, resolve problems, and reconcile accounts effectively.

Data Validation: Validate data across third-party payment platforms, internal data warehouses, Salesforce, and Netsuite to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Reporting: Create and generate metrics, reports, and statements for internal use to support decision- making and financial analysis.

Process Improvement: Assist with revenue team projects and contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

5+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally within SaaS, subscription, loyalty, or rewards-based industries.

Strong knowledge of ASC 606.

Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting.

Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite or Oracle.

Experience with Salesforce.

Excitement about using emerging technologies, including AI, to drive automation and continuous improvement in accounting processes.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort working with large data sets.

Excellent communication skills, especially when working with cross-functional teams.

High attention to detail and strong sense of ownership.

Comfortable working independently in a remote setup.
