Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Patient Examination & Consultation: Conduct thorough oral health evaluations and discuss treatment goals with patients.
- Treatment Planning & Delivery: Create and implement personalized treatment plans using evidence-based practices and modern dental technologies.
- Comprehensive Patient Care: Perform a full range of dental procedures, ensuring safety, comfort, and effective outcomes.
- Patient Education & Communication: Explain treatment options and preventive care clearly and compassionately to help patients make informed decisions.
- Clinical Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
- Mentorship & Supervision: Guide and support junior residents and dental students in clinical skills and decision-making.
- Team Leadership: Take the lead on complex cases and ensure the dental team follows clinical protocols and best practices.
- Ongoing Professional Development: Stay updated with advancements in dental care through continuous learning and participation in professional activities.
General Competencies:
- Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree
- Valid dental license in good standing.
- Certification of Preceptorship or Post Graduate Training
- Excellent clinical skills and dexterity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
