About the Role

Comrise is seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruiting across the EMEA region, with a strong focus on the UK & Ireland (UKI) market. This role is responsible for sourcing, engaging, and placing both contract/temporary and permanent talent across a range of industries and skill sets. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of regional employment practices, compliance requirements, and market trends across multiple EMEA countries, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing staffing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for both contract/temporary and permanent roles across EMEA, with an emphasis on the UK & Ireland market.
  • Partner with hiring managers and clients to understand role requirements, team structure, and hiring priorities; develop and execute effective sourcing strategies.
  • Source, screen, and assess candidates through direct sourcing, job boards, referrals, networking, and applicant tracking system (ATS) pipelines.
  • Guide candidates through the interview, offer, and onboarding process, ensuring a positive and consistent candidate experience.
  • Ensure compliance with country-specific employment, contractor, and IR35 regulations across EMEA and UKI markets.
  • Negotiate contract terms, pay rates, and offer packages for both contract and permanent placements.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of active and passive candidates for current and future EMEA/UKI requisitions.
  • Track and report on key recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline conversion, offer acceptance rate) to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Stay current on EMEA/UKI labor market trends, salary benchmarks, and competitive intelligence to advise clients and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with account management, delivery, and compliance teams to ensure smooth placement and onboarding of contract workers.
  • Mentor junior recruiters and contribute to continuous improvement of recruiting processes and tools.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including demonstrated experience recruiting across EMEA and UKI markets.
  • Proven track record recruiting for both contract/temporary and permanent positions.
  • Solid understanding of UK & Ireland employment law, contractor classification, and IR35 requirements.
  • Working knowledge of employment practices and compliance considerations across other EMEA countries.
  • Experience using ATS/CRM platforms (e.g., Bullhorn, iCIMS, or similar) and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, etc.).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering directly with hiring managers and clients.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume, multi-country requisition load in a fast-paced staffing or agency environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting within a staffing agency, RPO, or MSP environment.
  • Familiarity with contingent workforce management and vendor management systems (VMS).
  • Experience supporting IT, engineering, life sciences, or professional services clients.
