JOB DESCRIPTION – Senior Recruiter, APAC (Manila, Philippines)

Location: Manila, Philippines (Hybrid)

Division: Ticketmaster

Line Manager: Associate Recruitment Manager

Contract Terms: Permanent, Full-Time

THE TEAM

In this role, you will be part of a global recruitment team supporting hiring initiatives across the APAC region. You will partner with business leaders, hiring managers, and HR stakeholders to attract and hire top talent while delivering an exceptional candidate and stakeholder experience. You will collaborate with teams across multiple countries and cultures, supporting recruitment strategies aligned with local market conditions while maintaining global recruitment standards.

THE JOB

As a Senior Recruiter, you will play a key role in developing and executing recruitment strategies for complex and competitive hiring needs across the APAC region, with a focus on Engineering and Product roles. This requires strong market knowledge, the ability to navigate challenging talent landscapes, and the ability to partner with hiring leaders to define the right approach to attract and secure top talent.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic recruitment partner who can balance hands-on execution with advising stakeholders on talent availability, market trends, sourcing strategies, and innovative approaches to solve complex hiring challenges.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes across APAC markets, from intake meetings through offer acceptance and onboarding.
  • Proactively source and attract top talent in highly competitive markets, using a mix of direct sourcing, networking, and innovative talent attraction strategies
  • Partner closely with hiring managers, senior leaders and HRBPs to understand hiring needs, market conditions and define effective recruitment strategies
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines across APAC through proactive sourcing, networking, referrals, and market mapping.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to determine effective recruitment strategies, which may involve advertising, direct sourcing, agencies, and exploring internal solutions.
  • Partner with the sourcing team to identify, engage and convert high-quality candidates
  • Manage and coordinate all communications with candidates during recruitment process; working to build and maintain strong relationships with active and passive candidates
  • Lead offer management and negotiations, using strong influencing skills to secure top candidates in competitive situations
  • Coordinate relationships with external agencies when necessary
  • Participate in employer branding activities to attract top tech talent and enhance our reputation in the tech industry.
  • Emphasize the importance of diversity and equity in the recruitment process
  • Attend recruitment events when required, speaking to potential candidates
  • Assist with other ad-hoc projects as required
  • Mentor any interns or apprentices coming onto the team

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)

  • Proven experience recruiting across APAC markets, preferably supporting multiple countries.
  • Multi-language fluency is considered a plus, particularly for supporting diverse APAC markets and candidate populations.
  • Strong understanding of APAC talent markets and recruitment practices.
  • Experience as a Tech Recruiter with a track record of successfully placing candidates in engineering and product roles
  • Demonstrated success sourcing and hiring top talent in competitive markets, particularly for hard-to-fill roles
  • Knowledge of the tech industry, technical roles and the latest industry trends
  • Advanced knowledge of HRIS, preferably Workday
  • Experience partnering closely with hiring manager to deliver hires in timely manner
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within Recruiting
  • Demonstrated experience developing recruitment strategies for complex and specialized roles.
  • Ability to assess talent markets, identify recruitment challenges, and recommend effective solutions.
  • Experience recruiting across multiple APAC countries, with an understanding of regional differences in talent markets and hiring practices.
  • Experience using recruitment data and metrics to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and recommend improvements.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools to identify and engage passive talent.

  • Confident communicator who can influence stakeholders, challenge assumptions, and provide recommendations based on recruitment expertise.
  • Ability to adapt communication style and approach depending on the audience, including candidates, recruiters, hiring managers, and senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated confidence as a subject matter expert, building credibility and trust with stakeholders
