Job Overview:
The associate will mainly support in APJ payroll processing and may also require support in EMEA payroll. Ideally, the associate should have experience in processing payroll for APJ countries specifically for Japan, Hong Kong, India, Singapore and Australia.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Processing and management of assigned payrolls.
- Preparation of vendor payroll input templates for payroll input and load to vendor UI platform
- Preparation of employee payments in the bank and request for approval/release.
- Effectively collaborate with the payroll vendor to ensure that all pay impacting transactions are collected, processed, and reported timely and accurately.
- Assist the Accounting Team with payroll journal and accrual preparations and the reconciliations of payroll general ledger balances.
- Assist the Accounting Team with audit requirement.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and provide support and input when required.
- Act as a point of contact for all payroll related queries from Employees for other assigned payrolls.
- Deliver excellent employee experience in relation to ServiceNow queries.
- Understand employment tax requirements relating to compensation and benefits, including equity.
- Highlight the problems if anything is not going well.
- Help improve payroll-related documentation and procedures.
- Adhere to all legal and internal deadlines.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar field.
- Must have at least 2 years of payroll experience in APJ Countries specifically Japan, Hong Kong, India, Singapore and Australia.
- A thorough understanding of payroll procedures, from processing to reporting.
- Proficiency with payroll systems such as Workday.
- Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
