Senior Python + GraphQL Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Python + GraphQL Developer with 5 to 7 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain robust backend applications and GraphQL APIs. You will work closely with front-end teams, architects, and product stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable technical solutions. Outstanding technical expertise and clear, effective communication skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

• API Development: Design, build, and manage GraphQL APIs, schema definitions, resolvers, queries, mutations, and subscriptions.
• Backend Engineering: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend applications and microservices using Python.
• System Integration: Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate applications with third-party services, enterprise systems, and cloud platforms.
• Database Management: Design and optimize database structures, complex queries, and data models for efficiency and speed.
• Quality Assurance: Perform thorough unit testing, lead code reviews, and troubleshoot complex application bugs or performance bottlenecks.
• Collaboration: Partner with front-end developers, business analysts, architects, and QA teams to deliver cohesive software solutions.
• Agile Practices: Actively participate in Agile development activities, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Qualifications:

• Core Technology: Strong proficiency and hands-on experience with GraphQL and Python.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
• API Architecture: Proven experience writing custom GraphQL resolvers, managing schemas, and optimizing mutations/queries.
• Backend Expertise: Solid understanding of Python frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Django, or Flask) and RESTful microservices.
• Databases: Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling best practices
