About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with strong data analysis capabilities and preferably experience in the finance industry. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions that enhance data integrity and operational efficiency. You'll be part of a dynamic, cross-functional team focused on delivering impactful technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust reconciliation solutions to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
- Expand reconciliation coverage for deeper and more accurate data validation.
- Automate reconciliation processes to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy and speed.
- Collaborate with business users to enhance data accuracy, streamline operations, and mitigate risks.
- Develop and maintain APIs for seamless system integration and improved data quality.
- Support statistical analysis and reporting to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Provide regular project updates and assist in resolving production incidents through root cause analysis and preventive measures.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Python is essential; familiarity with other programming languages and data tools is a plus.
- Strong numerical aptitude and experience working with large datasets.
- Proven ability to design and implement automated data validation and reconciliation solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with ITIL, Agile, or similar IT frameworks.
- Bonus: Familiarity with financial systems such as CreditLens, LoanIQ, or Summit.
