We are looking for a Senior Project Manager who will initially work under the Head of the Engineering Division for up to six months as part of a structured transition plan. The selected candidate will be trained to take over the role and eventually lead the entire Engineering Division.
This role is ideal for someone with extensive experience in the water sector or oil & gas industryboth of which involve similar large-scale infrastructure projects. We seek a leader who understands the complexities of running an entire department and has strong exposure to high-level engineering and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage Engineering Division operations, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Work closely with Branch Top Management to develop strategies, monitor performance, and report to the Branch Representative and overseas Head Office.
- Lead and supervise the engineering team, ensuring quality, schedule, cost, and safety standards are met.
- Coordinate engineering activities with project management, clients, and stakeholders for seamless execution.
- Represent the company in meetings with clients, vendors, government agencies, and other external parties.
- Manage project scheduling, cost estimation, and reporting for both local and headquarters requirements.
- Oversee subcontractor work progress, enforce milestones, and manage scope changes, including variation orders.
- Collaborate with various departments (design, procurement, construction) to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Civil Engineer (Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering).
- 20+ years of experience in Construction Project Management & Engineering.
- Extensive experience in the water sector or oil & gas industry.
- Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle complex challenges.
