Purpose of the Role
Leads and manages projects of medium to high complexity related to new product launches and
supporting optimisation of existing products. Responsibilities encompass risk and project management,
stakeholder engagement at commercial, operational and leadership levels. It requires to follow the
stage/gate process, providing prioritisation for the project team
Key Accountabilities & Performance Indicators
1. Project and risk management
Deliver projects of varying complexity on time and in full, covering new product introductions:
development, in-licensing, geo-expansion of commercial launches to market. When needed,
support product and network optimisation: site transfers, dual sourcing, compliance, and
regulatory initiatives, ensuring continuity of supply and commercial alignment.
Integrate commercial considerations throughout the project lifecycle, collaborating with
marketing, sales, supply chain, and regulatory teams to ensure market readiness and successful
launch.
Lead, steer, and empower cross-functional teams, fostering effectiveness, performance, cohesion,
and decisive action.
Champion the stage/gate process, managing budgets, risks, and commercial and operational
milestones.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders for effective escalation and
decision-making.
Responsible of project timelines from creation to completion, proactively communicating progress,
variations and changes to all relevant parties.
Identify and mitigate risks and issues, removing obstacles and escalating as appropriate to
maintain delivery commitments.
2. System excellency
Expertly use Planview, the iNova project management tool, to capture and maintain cost, benefits,
resources, milestones, risks, and commercial metrics.
Ensure high-quality, complete, and timely data inputs to enable consistent and accurate reporting
across workstreams and individuals. Proactively maintain project KPIs and documentation to
support strategic reviews and decision-making.
3. Continuous improvement
Contribute to the advancement of project management capabilities through post-launch reviews
and enhancements to processes, data, and systems.
Identify, advocate, and implement improvements to increase iNova's performance and efficiency.
Share insights and lessons learned to support organisational learning and future project success.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
Minimum 7 years of experience in FMCG/ Pharma industry, working across multiple geographies
Minimum 7 years of project management experience and 4 years being involved with Marketing,
R&D, Procurement, Regulatory, Medical functions
Experience in launching new product on the marketplace or managing product site transfer, either
in R&D, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or through a PMO, in several markets or with several
factories/external manufacturers
Project Management Certification (or proven equivalent experience)
Additional Requirements / Working Conditions
Able to work and participate in meetings across different time zones
