We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a SeniorProject Management Specialist to join the team in our Philippines office.

CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

YOUR ROLE.

The Senior Project Management Specialist leads the end-to-end coordination and execution of projects, ensuring seamless delivery within scope, schedule, and budget. This role is suited for professionals with a solid foundation in project management principles who are ready to independently manage tasks, elicit and document detailed requirements, and drive process improvements. The Senior Specialist works with limited supervision, mentors junior team members, and serves as a key liaison between stakeholders, project teams, and firm leadership. They possess an intermediate working knowledge of project management methodologies and can create moderately complex project budgets, work breakdown structures, and requirements documentation.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Client Interaction & Collaboration

  • Track project progress and ensure the seamless operation of multiple concurrent projects by prioritizing, planning, and organizing work in a dynamic environment.
  • Facilitate meetings with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams, including project kickoffs, status reviews, and working sessions.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, communicate project updates, and present findings to internal and external audiences.
  • Prepare executive-ready status reports, dashboards, and presentations that clearly convey progress, risks, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate project communications, maintain stakeholder registers, and lead documentation for departmental files and records.
  • Leverage Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Visio) to manage team documents, workflows, and deliverables.

Technical Tasks

  • Documentation: Create and maintain a full range of project artifacts, including requirements specifications, process models, use cases, project charters, and status reports.
  • Process Flows & Diagrams: Develop process flow diagrams that translate stakeholder input into documented business processes.
  • Traceability Matrix: Build and maintain the link between business objectives and project deliverables through a traceability matrix, feeding directly into the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
  • Testing & Validation: Facilitate and collaborate on testing activities to validate that solutions meet documented requirements and perform as expected.
  • Monitor project milestones and deliverables using project management tools (e.g., Monday.com).
  • Independently resolve project issues, escalating to leadership only when appropriate.

Strategic Tasks

  • Independently manage individual project tasks and create simple-to-moderate project budgets.
  • Elicit, analyze, and document detailed requirements; interpret complex data; and propose innovative solutions to business problems.
  • Apply strong interviewing techniques to gather requirements and manage stakeholder expectations across all project phases.
  • Contribute to product roadmaps and strategic project plans, identifying opportunities for process improvement and leading change management within assigned projects.
  • Maintain a client-focused approach, building and sustaining strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead project teams and small work groups, applying analysis techniques to moderately complex projects.

Development & Leadership

  • Maintain active PMI membership and continue advancing project management education through on-demand classes, certifications, and firm-sponsored learning.
  • Stay current on business industry workflows and processes to increase subject matter depth and better serve project stakeholders.
  • Mentor Project Management Specialists and provide guidance on documentation, tools, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and a collaborative approach that contributes to a positive team culture.

YOUR EXPERIENCE.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of progressive experience in project management or business analysis roles, including at least 2 years managing project tasks independently.
  • Working knowledge of PMBOK, Agile, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Monday.com, Visio, SharePoint).
  • Demonstrated experience creating requirements documentation, process flows, traceability matrices, and work breakdown structures.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to mid- and senior-level stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and lead small work groups.

Preferred Certifications

  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) – strongly preferred, or willingness to obtain within 12–18 months of hire.
