Job Description

Senior Project Accountant (₱80K | WFH | FREE AI Certification)

Cebu City | Work From Home | 8:00 PM–5:00 AM PH Time | Monday–Friday

Role Snapshot

You own the preparation of monthly financial statement packages, journal entries, and cash flow projections for real estate and construction projects, ensuring financial records are accurate and internal controls are maintained. Your daily work involves analyzing project revenues and expenses, executing bank reconciliations, managing reserve balances, and coordinating financial data for bank reporting and external audits.

This is not a general bookkeeping or administrative role. You operate within defined accounting scopes, partner directly with client-side Development, Construction, and Finance teams, and are trusted to resolve discrepancies and deliver timely financial packages under strict deadlines. Best suited for accounting professionals who thrive in structured remote environments, value analytical precision, and prefer clear accountability over ambiguity.

You're Likely a Strong Fit If You Have

  • 3–5 years of progressive professional accounting experience, ideally supporting real estate, property development, or construction operations
  • Hands-on ownership of monthly financial statement packages, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and cash flow projections
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial reporting software
  • Willingness to work the full night shift (8:00 PM–5:00 AM PH time) aligned with U.S. business hours in a dedicated home office setup

Strong Signals

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
  • Prior experience handling accounting processes for U.S.-based real estate or development clients
  • Proven background navigating fast-paced BPO or offshore shared-services delivery environments

Responsibility Pillars

Financial Statements & Month-End Reporting

You own the end-to-end preparation and integrity of monthly financial packages and general ledger account reconciliations.

  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare accurate journal entries and resolve accounting discrepancies
  • Prepare monthly financial statement packages and ensure proper recording of revenues and expenses
  • Perform bank reconciliations and assemble comprehensive financial data for bank reporting and external audits

Project Cash Flow & Financial Controls

You manage project-level liquidity and enforce standard accounting control procedures across all assigned entities.

  • Prepare project cash flow projections and actively monitor cash balances and required reserves
  • Maintain and monitor accounting control procedures to safeguard project assets and financial accuracy
  • Partner with Development, Construction, and Finance leads to fulfill owner and lender requests for financial data

Process Optimization & Special Projects

You continuously evaluate reporting workflows to drive operational efficiency and alignment across cross-functional teams.

  • Analyze financial trends and resource utilization to recommend and implement process improvements
  • Participate in defining, documenting, and updating core accounting procedures and workflow documentation
  • Execute specialized accounting analyses and ad-hoc financial projects as assigned by leadership

About the Company

A U.S.-based real estate development and property management enterprise develops, constructs, and manages multi-family residential and mixed-use properties across regional markets. Known for structured capital management and rigorous investor reporting standards, offshore accounting teams operate with documented workflows, defined project queues, and predictable monthly close cycles.
