Overview:
The Senior Program Specialist serves as the execution backbone of the Strategy Pillar, ensuring that strategic initiatives are structured, tracked, and delivered with rigor and clarity. The role demands equal command of strategic thinking and program management — this person must be as comfortable framing a problem and building a strategy narrative as they are designing a program governance structure or managing a delivery plan.
While strategic thinking is a prerequisite, the primary mode of work is execution. This person is expected to be in the weeds — running programs, chasing down blockers, facilitating working sessions, and doing whatever it takes to move things forward. The ability to zoom out and frame things well is required; the willingness to zoom back in and do the work is non-negotiable.
What you will do:
- Lead end-to-end program management of strategic initiatives and big bets – from designing the program to tracking execution, managing interdependencies, and escalating risks;
- Synthesize insights from program execution into actionable recommendations and decision-ready materials that support leadership alignment, prioritization, and informed decision-making
- Lead program workshops, contributing analysis/recommendations and synthesis to help the program team define initiatives and corresponding prioritization
- Provide oversight in ensuring strategic priorities are translated into roadmaps across Business, Operations, Product, and Technology teams through effective cross-functional team prioritization and coordination
- Engage with business units on strategic questions, bringing an analytical lens to BU/function-level strategy and execution problems
- Manage and align a diverse set of stakeholders across functions, ensuring the right people are informed, engaged, and moving in the same direction; and
- Support governance, reporting, and strategic planning cycles for the team
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Management, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience, with clear exposure to both program/project management and strategic planning or analysis. Experience in a Strategy & Planning, Corporate Strategy, or Chief of Staff function within a tech company, fintech, or digital bank is a strong plus
- Experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed organization and managing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong skills in structuring and communicating strategy — slides, memos, frameworks.
- Working knowledge of program management methodologies and tools. Ideally has a track record of delivering programs end-to-end, not just advising on them. Can point to specific initiatives they owned, ran, and closed.
- Demonstrated ability to independently produce high-quality analytical outputs
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and presenting findings to leadership
- Naturally curious, self-directed, and able to manage a recurring deliverable cadence without being micromanaged
