This Senior Program Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of a country-level core banking transformation program, ensuring alignment with regional and global initiatives.
Core responsibilities
- Program ownership: Accountable for successful delivery from planning through go-live
- Leadership & governance: Lead teams, manage KPIs, and engage steering committees
- Execution: Oversee planning, budgeting, risk management, vendor/SI coordination, and system implementation
- Stakeholder management: Align business, IT, operations, risk, and senior leadership
- Change & rollout: Drive UAT, training, and cutover readiness
- Reporting & control: Track progress, manage risks, and report to regional leadership
Ideal candidate profile
- 20+ years experience, with strong program/project leadership
- Proven track record in core banking transformation or system migration
- Strong understanding of banking operations and regulations
- Experienced in managing large, complex, cross-functional IT programs
- Skilled in stakeholder management and executive communication
- Familiar with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
