The Senior Program Manager is responsible for the management and monitoring of transformation projects and cross-functional programs in collaboration with different Functional Workstream Leads and Project Managers. He/she assists the Workstream Leads in resolving roadblocks and problem solving and ensures the implementation of project dashboards, progress monitoring and vendor performance assessment to ensure successful program delivery of hospital-wide transformation programs aligned with its objectives
and scope.
KEY FUNCTIONS:
- Plan, develop, and oversee the implementation of comprehensive program plans, ensuring alignment with the organization's transformation objectives and strategic goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, consultants, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather requirements, define program scope, and ensure effective communication and alignment throughout the program lifecycle.
- • Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, and establish mechanisms for detailed tracking and resolution. Implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize impact on program delivery.
- Establish and maintain a robust project governance framework, including defining roles, responsibilities, decision-making processes, and reporting structures to ensure program control and accountability.
- Escalate critical issues to senior management and relevant stakeholders to secure the necessary focus and attention, driving items to closure and ensuring accountability for resolving problems.
- Assist the functional workstream leads and project managers in the allocation and management of resources effectively, including budgeting, scheduling, and assigning tasks to workstream team members, ensuring optimal use of resources to meet program objectives.
- Monitor program performance against established KPIs and objectives, providing regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders on progress,challenges, and achievements.
- Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions, minimize resistance, and ensure stakeholder buy-in and support for transformation initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in program management practices and processes, incorporating lessons learned and best practices to enhance future program delivery.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project managers and team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance within the transformation office.
- Perform other tasks and duties as may be assigned/ delegated by the superiors.
Qualifications :
- Graduate of bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, Information
- Technology or related field.
- Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- Five (5) years of related business experience in project management
