Job Description

As the Product Manager for Identities, Access, and Security, you own the strategy and delivery of secure, scalable, and user-centric identity and access capabilities across the Maya Business platform. You are responsible for the end-to-end identity experience of merchants—across micro, SMEs, and large enterprises—ensuring solutions are tailored to varying needs, complexity, and risk. You drive and evolve authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle that balance user experience, security, and regulatory compliance, while navigating legacy constraints and future-state goals. You bring strong curiosity and passion for solving complex problems—continuously seeking better ways to improve both security and user experience in a fast-evolving landscape.

NATURE OF WORK

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and own the identity and access strategy across merchant segments (micro, SME, large enterprises).
  • Build and execute a roadmap aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive key initiatives (e.g., MFA, AFASA/regulatory requirements, UAM).
  • Ensure scalability from single-user to multi-role enterprise setups.

Merchant Experience Optimization

  • Own registration, login, recovery, and account management journeys.
  • Design segment-specific experiences (simple for micro, scalable for large enterprises).
  • Continuously improve flows using data and insights.

Access Control & Identity Lifecycle

  • Define and drive delivery of access control/UAM models.
  • Enable multi-user and role-based access for micro, SMEs, and large enterprises.
  • Manage identity lifecycle (create, verify, update, deactivate).
  • Support flexible account structures across merchant segments.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards.
  • Translate requirements into user-friendly journeys.
  • Implement controls to prevent fraud and unauthorized access.
  • Support audits and enforce governance.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Delivery

  • Own backlog, prioritization, and delivery.
  • Align engineering, UX, risk, compliance, and business teams.
  • Translate complex requirements into clear deliverables.
  • Ensure adherence to PDLC- embedding security, compliance, and governance from design through release.

Data, Analytics & Continuous Improvement

  • Define and track identity and access metrics by segment.
  • Identify friction points and improvement opportunities.
  • Drive continuous optimization using data.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6+ years in Product Management with exposure to identity, access, or application security
  • Experience in fintech, banking, or regulated environments
  • Proven experience building products serving diverse customer segments (SME/enterprise is a strong advantage)
  • Familiarity with User Access Management and enterprise account structures
  • Experience with regulatory and compliance-driven product development
  • Experience in merchant or B2B platforms
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
