The Qualifications We Seek
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Master's degree is an advantage
Experience
- 7-10+ years of hands-on Product Owner experience with end-to-end ownership of the product lifecycle, including discovery, backlog management, delivery, launch, and continuous improvement
- Proven experience leading Product Owners or Agile product teams while managing complex product portfolios and large-scale digital transformation initiatives
- Experience translating business requirements into prioritized product backlogs and collaborating with Engineering, Design, QA, and business stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle
Technical Skills
- Expertise in product strategy, roadmap planning, backlog prioritization, and portfolio management
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks and scaling methodologies, including SAFe and LeSS
- Hands-on experience managing product backlogs, facilitating Agile ceremonies, writing user stories, and defining acceptance criteria
- Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and other Agile product management tools
- Solid understanding of digital platforms, APIs, system integrations, and modern software development practices
- Data-driven mindset with experience tracking and optimizing KPIs, OKRs, and product performance metrics
Leadership Skills
- Strong leadership, people management, and Product Owner mentoring experience
- Excellent stakeholder management, executive communication, decision-making, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to balance strategic product planning with hands-on product ownership and delivery oversight
Your Daily Tasks
Product Strategy & Portfolio
- Define and execute product strategy, roadmaps, and priorities across multiple product lines, aligning initiatives with business goals, customer needs, and digital transformation objectives.
- Maximize business value and ROI through effective portfolio planning and prioritization.
Leadership & Agile Governance
- Lead, mentor, and develop Product Owners while establishing best practices, governance standards, and Agile ways of working.
- Drive Agile maturity using frameworks such as SAFe or LeSS and strengthen collaboration across Product, Engineering, and Business teams.
Product Ownership & Delivery
- Oversee end-to-end product ownership across multiple teams, ensuring high-quality backlog management, user stories, acceptance criteria, and successful product delivery.
- Balance short-term delivery priorities with long-term product strategy while monitoring KPIs, OKRs, and business outcomes.
Stakeholder & Customer Management
- Partner with executives and cross-functional stakeholders to define priorities, funding, and success metrics while communicating progress, risks, and product decisions.
- Champion customer-centric product development by leveraging customer insights, market trends, and data to improve user experience, adoption, and business value.
Risk & Change Management
- Manage cross-product dependencies, risks, and change initiatives to ensure successful delivery and alignment across business units.
