Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Own the Japan railway business, overseeing user growth, order conversion, and user experience, while continuously driving growth across key business metrics.
- Identify key product value propositions and user needs for Japan railway products. Leverage data, user insights, and after-sales feedback to continuously optimize the end-to-end booking journey and product experience, address conversion pain points, improve conversion efficiency, and enhance user satisfaction and brand reputation.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of the Japan railway travel market, user needs, and competitive landscape. Proactively identify business opportunities and areas for innovation, and apply best practices and industry insights to drive product innovation and iteration, strengthening the product's core competitiveness and commercial value.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, Operations, Supply, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to drive product iterations, marketing campaigns, and experience improvements, ensuring efficient project delivery and continuous, stable business iteration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above, with no specific major required.
- 3–5+ years of product management experience in the OTA / Internet industry. Hands-on experience with Japan railway or international railway products is highly preferred.
- Strong cross-functional communication, project execution, and collaboration skills, with the ability to independently drive projects from planning through delivery.
- Strong logical and data analysis skills, as well as excellent ability to break down complex user needs. Demonstrated product innovation mindset and the ability to continuously optimize product growth and user experience based on data and user insights.
- Good written and reading English skills, with the ability to support communication and content comprehension in an international business environment.
- Knowledge of the Japanese railway system and experience with international products are preferred. Experience with travel OTAs or international transportation products is also a plus.
