What will be your mission

Responsible for driving the strategy, development, and execution of financial products within Shopee's ecosystem, acting as the key link between business, engineering, and design teams. The role focuses on delivering scalable and user-centric solutions across areas such as payment processing, digital wallets, consumer credit, fraud prevention and regulatory compliance, while balancing customer experience, operational efficiency, and business growth. The team also collaborates closely with regional stakeholders across Asia, requiring strong communication and product alignment in English.


What will your day-to-day be like

  • Own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for financial services products, including payments, digital wallets, credit, fraud prevention and compliance
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from opportunity identification and customer discovery to launch, adoption, and optimization
  • Partner with Engineering, Design, Data, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Business teams to deliver scalable and customer-centric solutions
  • Prioritize initiatives based on customer impact, business value, technical feasibility, and regulatory requirements
  • Define product requirements, success metrics, and experimentation frameworks to drive data-informed decisions
  • Monitor product performance, identify growth opportunities, and continuously improve customer experience and business outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, including Pix, Open Finance, and Central Bank requirements
  • Communicate product strategy, roadmap, risks, and results to senior stakeholders and leadership teams
  • Collaborate with regional teams to align global initiatives with the needs of Brazil and LATAM markets
  • Mentor junior PMs and contribute to product excellence across the organization

Expected Results:

  • Own and surpass KPIs for the Digital Wallet and Benefits Hub †engagement, activation, retention, and revenue
  • Deliver products from zero to production with measurable user adoption within agreed timelines
  • Zero critical compliance failures across the product portfolio.


Requirements:

What you need to take on the challenge:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Tools
  • SQL, funnel analysis, A/B testing, product analytics tools
  • Advanced/Fluent English
  • Communication: simplifies complexity, tells stories with data for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience in Product
  • Experience in financial products: digital wallets, payments, consumer credit, or benefits platforms.
