The Senior Procurement Officer will support the category manager by contributing to the category sourcing strategies and ensuring alignment with Jollibee Foods Corporation's (JFC) procurement policies and procedures.
This includes:
- Identifying stakeholder requirements and execution of category plans
- Supply base optimization, market knowledge assimilation, analysis and application
- Managing the supplier lifecycle – accreditation, onboarding, performance and phase out
- Ensuring local sourcing practices and processes conform to overall procurement policies.
- Suggesting and working with the procurement leadership team to establish, process improvements, contributing to implementation and adherence on-site.
- Partnering with Global Procurement teams and internal stakeholders
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply and Risk Management: deliver a robust, optimized and agile supplier network for current and future JFC requirements.
- Cost Leadership: spend cost reduction, leveraging digital tools, business partnerships and increasing spend influence and management to maximize savings.
- Supplier Relationship Management: manage supplier partnerships, performance and the supplier lifecycle delivering competitive advantage through leadership on cost, innovation, sustainability and supply resiliency.
- People Leadership: leading a team, as well as managing projects and programs.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in relevant field
- At least 2 years of professional experience and demonstrated knowledge of the food value chain
- Prior exposure to category management, procurement or an engineering or operational environment is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in supporting a multi-disciplinary team in a project-led environment.
- Must be willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig (Hybrid Work Setup).
