We are seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to partner with pricing, revenue, sales, and leadership teams in transforming revenue, pricing, and customer data into actionable insights that drive strategic pricing decisions and business growth. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills, business acumen, and a deep understanding of pricing dynamics and customer behavior.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with pricing, revenue, and sales stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging revenue, pricing, and customer data to optimize pricing strategies and improve business performance.
- Explore, clean, and analyze large revenue, pricing, and customer datasets to generate actionable insights and recommendations that inform pricing models and strategies.
- Build automated dashboards and reporting solutions focused on revenue trends, pricing performance, and customer metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
- Evaluate data quality across revenue, pricing, and customer data sources, integrate new data sources, and work with data engineering to improve the pricing data infrastructure.
- Present findings and translate complex analyses into clear, concise insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Own metric design and analysis design initiatives focused on pricing effectiveness, revenue impact, and customer segmentation, leveraging big data sources and requiring advanced-level SQL skills to extract, transform, and interpret large-scale datasets.
- Operate as part of a fast-paced team that is responsible for attending to ad hoc analytics requests and delivering timely, high-quality insights under tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in pricing analytics, revenue analytics, or a related analytical role.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL is required. Experience with one or more of the following is a nice to have but not required: Python, R, Alteryx.
- Demonstrated experience in analysis of big data, including large revenue, pricing, transaction, and customer record datasets, with advanced SQL skills to effectively generate reports and analyses from these data sources.
- Experience with Salesforce or CRM data analysis (e.g., extracting, cleaning, and interpreting sales and customer data from Salesforce) is a plus but not required.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) is a plus but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
- (Nice to Have, Not Required) Experience with cloud platforms (Snowflake, AWS, GCP, or Azure).
