Senior Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineer (Up to ₱100,000 | Remote | Nightshift)

Philippines | 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM PHT | Monday to Friday

Join a growing engineering team where you'll own plumbing and fire protection system design from concept through construction, working on residential, commercial, institutional, and mixed-use projects across the US. You'll shape how buildings deliver water, drainage, and life safety systems — the infrastructure people never think about until it's missing.

This role puts you at the center of the design process. You'll translate architectural intent into fully coordinated 3D models and construction documents, size and calculate systems from first principles, and stay hands-on through construction administration — reviewing submittals, resolving RFIs, and coordinating in the field.

YOU'RE LIKELY A STRONG FIT IF YOU HAVE

• Progressive experience designing plumbing and fire protection systems for residential, commercial, institutional, and mixed-use projects
• Strong working knowledge of the International Plumbing Code (IPC), International Building Code (IBC), and applicable NYC, NYS, and NJ building and energy codes
• Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit, with experience producing coordinated 3D models, riser diagrams, and full construction documentation
• A minimum of 5 years of plumbing and fire protection design experience, including at least 5 years using Revit for 3D modeling

STRONG SIGNALS

• Experience sizing plumbing equipment, including pumps, water heaters, PRVs, and backflow preventers
• Familiarity with water conservation strategies, sustainable plumbing design, and LEED or other green building standards
• Strong computer skills across Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Adobe Acrobat
• US project experience, or experience designing systems against international building codes

RESPONSIBILITY PILLARS

Plumbing and Fire Protection Design

You own the technical design of plumbing and fire protection systems from schematic design through construction documents.

• Design domestic water, sanitary waste and vent, storm drainage, natural gas, and specialty systems
• Prepare basis-of-design calculations, including fixture counts, roof square footages, and drainage and water supply fixture units
• Draft and size system riser diagrams based on floor plans and design criteria

Documentation and Coordination

You ensure every drawing set is accurate, code-compliant, and fully coordinated with the rest of the project team.

• Produce high-quality plumbing and fire protection drawings and specifications in line with local codes and industry standards
• Build coordinated 3D models in Revit and 2D designs in CAD based on architectural and construction documentation
• Collaborate with architects and engineers from other disciplines to keep the design fully integrated

Construction Support

You stay engaged through construction to keep the design intent intact on site.

• Review contractor submittals and respond to RFIs
• Support field coordination during construction administration
• Apply lessons learned from past projects to improve design quality going forward
